This patent pending method allows for the repair of a breach in the secondary containment wall. The existing interstice is filled with an adhesive material that is compatible with both environmental fluids and petroleum products creating a single wall tank with the structural aspects of the combined inner and outer wall. A rigid secondary containment lining is then installed to restore interstitial monitoring capability and restore the tank to double wall status. Previously, due to the difficulty in locating a leak in the outer wall of an underground tank, the tank would require removal. We have a solution.
